Environmental performance of WPC wood-plastic composites

Wood plastic composites (WPC) are modified thermoplastic materials made from wood or plant fibres filled, reinforced, hot pressed composites, melt extrusion and other processing methods.

The production and use of WPC does not produce volatile substances that are harmful to the surrounding environment, and the material itself can be recycled, making it a new green and environmentally friendly product and an ecologically clean composite material, so the preparation and processing of WPC has great economic and environmental benefits.

In recent years, with the increasing depletion of global resources and rising social awareness of environmental protection, this has placed higher demands on the application of wood and petrochemical products.
